Job Description
Boston Materials is seeking a skilled Equipment Technician to maintain the high reliability and efficiency of its specialized composite processing and manufacturing equipment. The role involves installation, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of manufacturing systems while ensuring minimal downtime.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 3+ years of experience as an Equipment Technician, Maintenance Technician, or similar role
- Strong aptitude for diagnosing and repairing mechanical systems
- Proven ability to troubleshoot electrical systems up to 480V
- Experience with Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) operation
- Proficiency in general fabrication, welding, and machining
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and perform duties in a manufacturing environment
