Job Description
The Youth Program Instructor will plan, implement, and supervise youth activities within a defined program area, focusing on Academic Success, Healthy Lifestyles, Good Character and Citizenship. This role involves creating a supportive environment, ensuring safety and quality programs, and providing guidance to members and volunteers. The Instructor will be responsible for weekly branch staff meetings and may assist with special events.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Experience working with children
- Knowledge of youth development
- Ability to motivate youth and manage behavior problems
- Ability to deal with the general public
- Ability to plan and implement quality programs for youth
- Ability to organize and supervise members in a safe environment
- CPR and First Aid certifications
- Valid State Driver’s License
