Job Description
This part-time role supports the delivery of BGCTM programs, promoting positive youth development and engaging members in safe, structured, and engaging activities. The Youth Development Professional will work under the direction of the Site Coordinator and will be responsible for preparing materials, maintaining a safe environment, and building supportive relationships with members and staff.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent, or currently enrolled in high school
- Minimum of 6 months of experience working with youth or teens preferred
- Reliable and punctual attendance
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with diverse groups
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy
- Able to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment
