Director of Club Services is responsible for filling in at Clubs during leadership gaps, managing growth and development of Assistant Clubhouse/Site Directors and Art Director group, and overseeing special initiatives and program innovations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Recreation, Human Services, or a related field or 7 years experience managing youth and staff in a non-profit setting
- Experience in program and leadership development preferably in an educational or youth-focused setting
- Strong understanding of online safety issues affecting youth and familiarity with best practices in digital citizenship
- Communicate clearly and compellingly with diverse stakeholders in both oral and written forms
- Experience managing partnerships and building relationships with external organizations
- Effective written and verbal communication and the ability to clearly communicate with program staff and Club member families
- Strong positive prevention & disciplinary skills with youth with ability to manage youth behaviors and maintain high expectations
- Current Red Cross First Aid/CPR certification (or within 90 days of employment)
- Ability to analyze data to inform work and decision making
- Implement procedures and policies to support student achievement
- Possess experience in curriculum development
- Driven by a desire to produce high quality youth programs
- Approach work with a sense of possibility and see challenges as opportunities for creative problem solving
- Take initiative to explore issues and find potential innovative solutions
- Successfully manage own objectives through strong organization, detailed work plans, and balancing of multiple priorities
- Valid driver’s license and be able to operate a 10-passenger vehicle
