Audit Managers may serve as the engagement lead or work under the direct supervision of a Senior Manager, depending on the nature and complexity of the client engagement. This role requires strong communication skills, as Audit Managers interact regularly with both clients and firm team members.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business required; Bachelor’s degree in Accounting preferred
- 5+ years of accounting experience required, including experience managing staff; public accounting experience preferred
- CPA or CMA license preferred
- Strong understanding of GAAP and GAAS
- Proficient in technology and accounting software
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Collaborative team player
- Innovative thinker with strong problem-solving abilities
