The Value & Marketing Insights Team Lead role is responsible for measuring and communicating the impact of BrandBastion across organic social and paid performance, turning messy engagement and performance data into clear narratives, ROI frameworks, and executive-ready insights.
Requirements
- 5+ years in marketing analytics or performance marketing analytics, ideally in B2B SaaS, AdTech, MarTech, or an agency serving enterprise brands.
- Deep understanding of social media marketing metrics and paid performance, including how to interpret results and tradeoffs (creative, audience, placement, frequency, incrementality).
- Experience working with social platform reporting ecosystems (Meta, TikTok, YouTube, X, Reddit), either directly or via client reporting.
- Experience with attribution concepts (multi-touch, view-through, lift), experimentation (A/B tests), and measurement pitfalls (platform differences, sampling, missing baselines).
- Strong experience building ROI narratives and executive-ready reporting, including QBRs, case studies, benchmarks, or business reviews.
- Strong Analytical Background: You’re skilled in SQL, Excel, BI tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Power BI), and data visualization. You can dive deep into complex datasets and emerge with actionable insights.
- Marketing experience is a must-have: You know how to measure and report on organic social and paid social media performance, including engagement, reach, CTR, CVR, CAC, ROAS, and incremental lift, and you can explain what the numbers mean for the business. You fully understand social media and ads end to end, and you can translate platform metrics into business impact through strong KPI design, reporting, and narrative insights.
