The Senior Tax Analyst is responsible for a broad range of direct and indirect tax matters, including tax compliance, tax accounting, audits, and transfer pricing. The role provides technical guidance, contributes to the development of junior tax staff, and collaborates with internal stakeholders, external advisors, and global tax peers.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 8+ years of relevant experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of ASC 740 and U.S. federal/state income tax concepts
- Solid understanding of indirect tax concepts, including U.S. sales/use tax and Canadian GST/HST
- Strong accounting fundamentals and analytical skills
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment with competing priorities
- Experience working with auditors and cross-functional teams
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
