
Job description
Account Managers are responsible for managing sales efforts in their assigned territory to maximize sales and profit. They utilize frequent face-to-face and/or telephone contact in a consultative sales approach to ensure customer satisfaction. They identify selling opportunities and act upon them to maximize potential and/or gross profit.
Meet sales objectives, focus on customer retention, and improve overall customer satisfaction. Identify customer potentials, set strategies and targets for growth, and conduct customer visits. Manage spot business, liaise with stakeholders, and act as a major point of contact for customers.
This role requires a strong sales background, preferably in the chemical distribution business. The ideal candidate will have a post-secondary education in Business, Science, or equivalent, and 3-5 years of experience in sales.
