The CPMO Manager will lead the development of Brent's CPMO as a centre of excellence for programme, project and portfolio management, working closely with senior leaders and delivery teams across the council. The role involves shaping frameworks, standards and culture that help programmes succeed, ensuring that the council's biggest and most complex change programmes are well-governed, clearly prioritised, and actually delivered.
Requirements
- Strong experience in PMO, programme or project management within a complex organisation
- Ability to operate at both strategic and operational level, shaping frameworks while supporting delivery
- Confidence working with senior leaders, influencing decisions and providing constructive challenge
- Experience embedding governance, improving delivery standards and driving consistency across teams
- Strong understanding of programme, project and portfolio management (including Agile and Waterfall approaches)
- Ability to build relationships, navigate complexity and bring people with you
