Job Description
BEAM Discovery Faculty role involves teaching middle school students advanced mathematical thinking in a supportive, inquiry-driven environment. The role requires a strong grasp of Discovery course mathematics and experience working with middle school students. The faculty member will teach one or two courses daily, lead problem-solving blocks, and participate in coaching cycles.
Requirements
- At least three years of experience as a primary instructor in schools, enrichment programs, or similar environments
- Commitment to equity and creating inclusive, affirming, rigorous classrooms
- Student-centered teaching experience and familiarity with middle school mathematics
- Growth mindset and openness to feedback and coaching
