Bridges is seeking a Special Education Lead Teacher for an elementary-level non-categorical self-contained classroom for students with high-level special needs.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and/or Special Education (preferred)
- Certification in Special Education (preferred)
- Passed the Praxis SPED exams (preferred)
- 1 to 2 years of successful classroom teaching experience in an urban school setting
- Strong classroom management skills
- Commitment to meeting the needs of a diverse student population
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Passion for public schools
- Adherence to high professional and ethical standards
