Job Description
Join Brightline West as a Vice President of Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) and shape the future of American travel by reimagining greener, better, and faster train travel. This role requires strategic and financial leadership, driving insights and actions from data and analytics, and telling compelling stories that influence decision-making and drive performance. You will lead all FP&A and strategy activities, participate in capital market matters, and champion a culture of change and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Minimum of 10–12 years of direct FP&A experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline; MBA or CFA preferred
- Background in finance, accounting, analytics, capital markets, or investment banking
- Strong analytical, financial modeling, and presentation skills
- Ability to understand complex financing and credit agreements and experience working with lenders
- Demonstrated leadership experience managing a high-performing team to successful outcomes
- Ability to navigate a matrixed, fast-paced environment with competing priorities
- Exceptional standards and professionalism with high attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
