The Superintendent provides job-site leadership necessary for successful project completion for projects assigned. Provides supervision of quality standards and implement the QA/QC Program to ensure the highest quality standards are met.
Requirements
- Create and maintain Master Schedule and 4-week look ahead schedules.
- Provide supervision of quality standards and implement the QA/QC Program to ensure the highest quality standards are met.
- Understand and hold others accountable for Jobsite Safety Standards.
- Oversee the Storm Water Management program.
- Coordinate with all jurisdictional permitting and inspection entities and third-party testing agencies.
- Understand and enforce the complete execution of all subcontractors’ contractual obligations.
- Train and mentor direct reports to create leverage and opportunities for others without risking successful project outcomes.
- Conduct preconstruction meetings with subcontractors prior to their starting work.
- Conduct weekly on-site subcontractor coordination meetings, safety meetings, and daily safety inspections.
- Ensure projects close out effectively and all permits are closed.
- Maintain As-Built drawings throughout the duration of each project. Submit accurate As-Built drawings at the completion of each project.
- Monitor field labor and equipment utilization, compare to budget, and provide cost projections to the Project Manager during monthly Project Cost Report reviews.
