Working at Bristol Myers Squibb as a Medical Science Liaison, Oncology, Lung & GU Tumors in Central & North Texas/Oklahoma involves engaging in scientific dialogue with healthcare leaders to translate science into patient care. The role involves capturing medical insights, acting as a clinical and scientific advisor, and ensuring that patients have access to BMS medicines. The MSL will work with medical communities to address scientific questions and engage in educational dialogue with HCPs to share clinical evidence and information.
Requirements
- MD, PharmD, PhD, APP, PA, NP with experience in a specific Disease Area or with a broad medical background or relevant pharmaceutical experience
- Working in a scientific and/or clinical research environment. Field medical expertise preferred.
- Deep understanding of TL environment and needs.
- Strong oncology experience required
- Scientific or clinical disease area knowledge, patient treatment trends, clinical landscape
- Pharmaceutical industry including compliance and regulatory guidelines
- Understanding of scientific publications
- Clinical trial design and process
- Understanding of national and regional healthcare and access environment.
