Job Description
Research Scientist I - Viral Genomics Group - Sabeti Lab at The Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard is seeking a Research Scientist I to join their dynamic research environment. The role will involve method development, automation and scaling, matrixed leadership, programmatic contribution, and mentorship. The position is centered on developing and scaling novel genomic methods to track the spread and evolution of viruses and other pathogens.
Requirements
- PhD in Genetics, Genomics, Molecular Biology, or a related field
- 0-2 years of postdoctoral or relevant professional experience
- Advanced expertise in sample preparation and Illumina NGS technologies
- Proven track record in developing and optimizing molecular biology protocols
