Make Ready Maintenance Technician

The Make Ready Maintenance Technician is responsible for preparing vacant apartment units for new residents and performing various maintenance tasks to ensure the property remains in excellent condition.

Requirements

• Inspect vacant units and determine the necessary repairs and maintenance tasks
• Replace or repair fixtures, appliances, and hardware as needed
• Ensure all units meet the property's quality standards before being leased to new residents
• Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs, fixing leaks, and unclogging drains
• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment and systems to extend their lifespan
• Assist with emergency maintenance tasks as required
• Maintain the property's curb appeal by performing tasks such as pressure washing, painting, and landscaping
• Ensure common areas are clean, safe, and functional
• Follow all safety protocols and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Report any safety hazards or maintenance issues to the Property Manager
• Interact with residents in a professional and courteous manner
• Address resident maintenance requests promptly and efficiently
• Communicate effectively with the Property Manager and other team members
