The Make Ready Maintenance Technician is responsible for preparing vacant apartment units for new residents and performing various maintenance tasks to ensure the property remains in excellent condition.
Requirements
- Inspect vacant units and determine the necessary repairs and maintenance tasks
- Replace or repair fixtures, appliances, and hardware as needed
- Ensure all units meet the property's quality standards before being leased to new residents
- Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs, fixing leaks, and unclogging drains
- Perform preventive maintenance on equipment and systems to extend their lifespan
- Assist with emergency maintenance tasks as required
- Maintain the property's curb appeal by performing tasks such as pressure washing, painting, and landscaping
- Ensure common areas are clean, safe, and functional
- Follow all safety protocols and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Report any safety hazards or maintenance issues to the Property Manager
- Interact with residents in a professional and courteous manner
- Address resident maintenance requests promptly and efficiently
- Communicate effectively with the Property Manager and other team members
