
Job description
The Patient Services Clerk is accountable for providing clerical support and facilitating patient management to the Cancer Centre. The role involves admitting and discharging patients, booking outpatient clinic and treatment appointments, reception duties, delivering customer service of a high standard and providing high level administrative assistance to the Cancer Centre.
Accurately enter patient admissions, attendances, discharges, appointments and referrals in the Patient Administration System (PAS) and complete all relevant paperwork. Provide a high level of customer service by handling patient and enquires via telephone and in person.
Experience in a hospital setting, knowledge in public and MBS billing, and experience with Patient Administration System and Mosaiq are desired.
