Brock University seeks a dynamic early career researcher and educator to contribute to the advancement of digital applications for sustainable agriculture, with potential applications for the grape and wine industry in the Niagara region. The successful candidate will have an established record of research excellence, international recognition, and a proven ability to translate research findings into impactful solutions that address challenges in Sustainable Systems Engineering.

Requirements

• PhD in engineering or a closely related field
• First degree in engineering
• Licensure, or eligibility for licensure as a Professional Engineer (P. Eng) in Ontario
• Relevant industry experience in engineering, science, and technology industries
• Knowledge or understanding of agricultural practices and systems
• Experience with interdisciplinary and collaborative research projects
• Experience working with industry and community partners for research projects
• Teaching experience in machine learning, sensor and actuators, big data, and computer simulations
