Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Vice President for our Mortgage Loan Servicing (MLS) team. The MLS team is responsible for overseeing all aspects of middle- and back-office operations for mortgage loans, including loan closing and onboarding, collateral management, transaction processing, and reconciliations.
Requirements
- Lead multiple projects, as required
- Evaluate and update control documentation for the various mortgage loan processes
- Work closely with the Real Estate Credit Portfolio Management, Investment and Legal teams, to onboard Mortgage Loans and related investment structures
- Assist in managing, coordinating and monitoring the timely collection of all due diligence for the closing process and ongoing life cycle activity related to Mortgage Loans
- Ensure timely recording of data to facilitate regulatory requirements
- Create and evaluate reports for distribution to Senior Management, Underwriters, Investment department and rating agencies
- Support the Real Estate investment valuation process, including preparing data sets as required
- Work collaboratively with IT to develop, automate and maintain reports
