Job Description
Brookfield Renewable is seeking a Senior Accountant to join the Financial Reporting and Lender Relations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing financial statements and financial-related reporting for lenders, partners, and internal stakeholders.
Requirements
- Four (4) or more years of relevant experience
- Hold or in the process of completing a recognized professional accounting designation (CPA Canada)
- Working knowledge of IFRS and U.S. GAAP
- Motivated, driven, humble and passionate individual
- Willingness to learn and the ability to receive feedback
- Solid analytical abilities combined with being highly detail oriented
- Ability to work independently and also within a team-focused environment
- Ability to work in a dynamic, complex, fast-paced environment and to be flexible in adapting to shifting priorities
- Experience working with credit agreements
- Experience working with large, multi-national corporations with numerous and varying reporting requirements
