Regional Training Coordinator, Radiological Assistance Program

Brookhaven National Laboratory seeks a Regional Training Coordinator for the Radiological Assistance Program (RAP) to manage training activities, ensure team readiness, and coordinate training, drills, and exercises. The position involves planning, developing, and delivering training programs, maintaining databases, and working with other NNSA programs. The role requires a strong background in health physics, radiological science, or a related field, with experience in radiological emergency response and training program development.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Health Physics, Radiological Science, Engineering, or a closely related field
• Minimum three (3) years progressively responsible full-time related work experience
• Comprehensive knowledge of radiation monitoring instruments and equipment
• Excellent technical, interpersonal, communication, data analysis, and decision-making skills
• Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance, which requires U.S. Citizenship
• Valid drivers' license required
