Job Description
The Investment Risk Team at Brown Advisory is seeking an Investment Risk Analyst to work in their New York office. The role will support various aspects of day-to-day, ad-hoc analysis, strategic projects, and enhance analytic methods.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- 1-4 years of experience
- Prior experience in assessing investment risk or investment decision making
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Working knowledge of Bloomberg PORT
- Experience in programming languages (VBA, R, Python, etc.)
- Strong experience in visualization software, like Tableau
- Excellent understanding of financial markets and products, including Alternatives
- Strong analytical skills, including market data analytics
- Experience with financial modeling
- Highly organized and detail oriented
- Ability to adapt, prioritize, and execute in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
