Producer In Training

Brown & Brown is seeking a Producer in Training to join their team in Carmel, IN, to assist in various departments and gain technical knowledge and learn processes and procedures. The Producer in Training will be prepared to move into a sales position as a Producer at the conclusion of the training program.

Requirements

• Attend all sales meetings
• Assist Brown & Brown teammates with assigned duties
• Become familiar with the Agency Management System
• Become familiar with Brown & Brown office procedures
• Successfully complete State License Qualification Course
• Pass required State License exam
• Successfully complete all educational courses or professional designation courses
• Be accountable to the department manager for attendance and work performance
• Develop relationships with insurance company underwriters
• Attend insurance company sponsored events as directed by manager
• Participate in new business prospecting exercises
• Develop knowledge of the'marketing' process
• Successfully complete 'Brown & Brown University'
