Job Description
Brown & Brown is seeking a Scrum Master to join their team in Plano, TX. The Scrum Master is accountable for establishing and supporting Scrum within the team and the wider organization.
Requirements
- Bachelorâs degree in computer science or equivalent experience
- 3-5 years of experience in Agile/Scrum environments
- Working knowledge of Agile Project Management Tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, TFS, Jira)
- Working knowledge of Virtual Collaboration Tools (e.g., Teams, SharePoint, M365, Miro, Mural, MS Whiteboard, Figma)
- Working knowledge of Agile and Scrum frameworks (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, XP, Spotify)
- Ability to interpret software delivery team performance metrics
- Strong conflict-resolution and negotiation skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of DevOps practices (e.g., CI/CD, automated testing, automated deployments)
- Professional Scrum Master (PSM I, KMP, PSK, SSM, CSM or higher) certification (Preferred)
- Experience supporting multiple Scrum Squads simultaneously (Preferred)
- Background in organizational change management (Preferred)
- Understanding of DevOps culture (Preferred)
