Job Description
Brubacher Excavating is seeking a Pipe Layer to lay pipe for sanitary storm sewers, gas utilities, and water mains. The company emphasizes integrity, initiative, and employee appreciation. Requirements
- Understand trench safety requirements, soil types, and protective systems.
- Regularly use shovel, digging iron, cut-off saw, and tamper.
- Check pipe laser and grade stakes.
- Establish pipe laser and ensure proper grade.
- Communicate with operator regarding alignment.
- Direct the Pipe Laborer on tools, pipe length, and cutting methods.
- Assist with plan creation and reviewing blueprints.
