Job Description
The Truck Driver position involves operating vehicles of a specific weight class and transporting materials to and from job sites. Responsibilities include following traffic laws, maintaining vehicle safety, securing loads, and operating equipment with precision. This role requires a strong understanding of driver responsibilities and adhering to DOT regulations.
Requirements
- Maintains a high level of safety on the job site.
- Operates a truck with a gross vehicle weight rating exceeding 10,000 pounds.
- Operates a vehicle with a low boy trailer, loading/unloading equipment, and loading/unloading material.
- Maintain a high level of safety on public roads
- Maintain drivers’ log.
- Maintain safe speed.
- Know start up and shut down procedures of heavy equipment.
