Manager Accounting

Buckland is seeking a Manager Accounting to lead the day-to-day operations of the finance department, ensuring alignment with departmental expectations and goals. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and leading a team, preparing financial statements, and analyzing financial data to understand performance at the company and line of business level.

Requirements

• University degree in finance or related discipline
• Accredited accounting designation (CPA)
• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience
• Minimum 5 years of experience managing, mentoring, and leading a team
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Access, Word)
• Strong background working directly with a team managing day to day administrative/accounting duties
• Effective communication skills to convey financial concepts to company managers and executives
• Leadership and decision-making skills
