Assistant Store Manager

The Assistant Store Manager is responsible for fulfilling the company's mission statement, providing legendary service to guests, and driving sales and business results. The role involves leading by example, coaching and developing team members, and managing visual merchandise and operations.

Requirements

• Greet guests with a friendly, engaging attitude
• Recommend and select merchandise based on guest needs and desires
• Maintain and share knowledge of current sales and promotions
• Achieve personal sales-per-hour, average sales and total net sales goals
• Provide legendary service throughout the store
• Maintain and build good guest relationships
• Lead by example with a high level of showmanship, excellent customer service and attentiveness
• Recognize and communicate guest levels with the team
• Coachable and consistently welcomes feedback from manager to improve sales presentations
• Plan sales goals with store manager
• Develop skills and assist in leading, directing, motivating and educating new teammates
• Maintain a positive attitude at all times creating a positive floor culture
• Understand and utilize planner including completion of opening and closing checklists
• Watch for and recognize security risks and thefts, and know how to prevent or handle these situations
• Follow all Loss Prevention guidelines, including daily bag and purse checks
• Ability to operate a motor vehicle and travel, including overnight as required
