Outside Sales Representative

Builders FirstSource is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing, or a related field and two years of prior sales experience. They will be responsible for representing the company with customers, identifying products and services to meet customer needs, and participating in leadership roles to help train and develop less experienced sales staff.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing or related field
• Two (2) years prior sales experience
• In-depth knowledge of company products, services, production processes and product standards
• In-depth understanding of policies and procedures relating to sales and customer service
• Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive information
• Demonstrated professionalism, diplomacy and tact to portray the company in a positive manner
• Highly effective selling skills
• Ability to achieve aggressive sales goals and objectives
• Highly effective presentation skills
• Ability to prioritize work, manage time effectively and work unsupervised
• Well-developed interpersonal and influencing skills
• Proficiency in Office Suite
• Valid driver’s license
