Outside Sales Representative

Outside Sales Representative role at Builders FirstSource, America’s largest supplier of building materials. The role involves representing the company with complex customers, understanding their needs, and providing sales proposals. The role also involves training and developing less experienced sales staff.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing or related field
• Two (2) years prior sales experience
• Valid driver’s license
• Proficiency in Office Suite
• In-depth knowledge of company products, services, production processes and product standards
• In-depth understanding of policies and procedures relating to sales and customer service
• Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive information
• Demonstrated professionalism, diplomacy and tact
• Highly effective selling skills
• Ability to achieve aggressive sales goals and objectives
• Highly effective presentation skills
• Ability to prioritize work, manage time effectively and work unsupervised
• Well-developed interpersonal and influencing skills
