Job Description
Builders FirstSource, America’s largest supplier of building materials, value-added components and building services to the professional market, is seeking a Product Sales Specialist - Outside Sales to manage sales, supply chain and sales support activities related to an assigned product or product line, including inventory, purchasing, delivering, and service in order to maximize revenues and profitability.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Business Management or related field
- Five (5) years product sales experience
- Working knowledge of business-to-business selling
- Advanced knowledge of products or product lines
- Strong knowledge of construction industry
- High level of self-motivation
- Ability to think strategically, forecast and drive sales
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent presentation, negotiating, and influencing skills
- Ability to use tact and skill in dealing with other staff, management and vendors
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and an enterprise resource planning (ERP) program
