Yard Foreman

The Yard Foreman is responsible for overseeing and directing the activities of yard personnel to ensure good customer service and safe and efficient movement of goods and equipment. The role involves directing workers in loading, unloading, and movement of materials, inspecting loading operations, and providing on-the-job training to new yard employees.

Requirements

• Working knowledge of yard and product activities on location
• Ability to plan and coordinate work processes
• Communication skills sufficient to speak before teams and work groups
• Knowledge of basic math, counting, and estimating
• Minimum high school diploma or GED and four years of experience performing and coordinating yard or manufacturing activities
