Yard Foreman

The Yard Foreman oversees and directs the activities of yard personnel to ensure good customer service and safe and efficient movement of goods and equipment on the premises. The role involves directing workers in loading, unloading, and movement of materials, inspecting loading operations, and providing on-the-job training to new yard employees.

Requirements

• High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and four (4) years experience performing and coordinating yard or manufacturing activities; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds frequently and on occasion up to 80 pounds.
• Ability to perform specific tasks that involve climbing, lifting, pushing or kneeling.
