Senior Marketplace Operations Associate

Built is looking for a Marketplace Operations Senior Associate to help scale the operational backbone of their inspection and services marketplace. The role involves vendor onboarding, supply management, order operations, and process documentation and automation. The ideal candidate has 4+ years of experience in business operations, consulting, or a high-growth startup environment with broad, hands-on responsibilities.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in business operations, consulting, or a high-growth startup environment with broad, hands-on responsibilities
• Strong analytical capabilities, including advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets, with the ability to turn data into actionable insights
• Demonstrated ability to operate independently in fast-paced, ambiguous environments and build structure where no clear playbook exists
• Proven track record of using data to diagnose problems, identify trends, and drive informed operational decisions—not just report on outcomes
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly translate complex operational and technical concepts for both cross-functional stakeholders and non-technical customers
• Ability to own and drive workstreams end-to-end, influencing cross-functional teams to achieve results
• Skilled in building and managing customer relationships with professionalism and empathy, confidently navigating conflict and not hesitating to engage directly with customers—including picking up the phone—to resolve issues and strengthen trust
