Edward Buncombe, a Revolutionary War hero. Two years of experience as a Veterans Service Officer or in relevant veteran's service work, plus additional training and experience in working with veterans and the Federal Veterans Administration
Detention Officer
High School diploma or equivalent, 20 years of age, valid driver’s license, and certified as a detention officer within a year
Recreation Services Facility Assistant- PRN (19hrs/ Wkly)
High school diploma, 1 year of customer service experience, and a valid NC driver’s license are required
Social Worker IV - Investigations
Master's degree in social work and 1-4 years of social work experience
Public Safety Telecommunicator
High school diploma, one year of experience as a Public Safety call taker, dispatcher, or telecommunicator, and Telecommunicator Certification
BCSO Detention Deputy - Transportation
High school diploma, NC BLET Course completion, and 21 years of age
Sheriff Deputy
High School diploma or equivalent, NC BLET Course completion, 21 years of age, and certification as a law enforcement officer
Court Enforcement Deputy
High school diploma or equivalent, Certification as a law enforcement officer, and valid driver’s license required
Public Safety Communications Director
Bachelor's degree, 7 years of experience in Public Safety communications, and various certifications
