Job Description
This job posting is for a BCSO Detention Deputy - Transportation position in Asheville, NC. The incumbent is responsible for the care, custody, control, and transportation of a detainee population during an assigned shift.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent and completion of NC BLET Course
- 21 years of age
- Certification as a law enforcement officer in accordance with the North Carolina Sheriffs' Training and Standards Commission
- Possession of a valid driver's license issued by the State of North Carolina
