Job Description
Manage a team of Maintenance Operatives and gardeners to ensure care homes remain functional and buildings and equipment are maintained to a high standard. Comply with Bupa Standard Operating Procedures and relevant legislation. Assist in managing repairs and maintenance revenue budgets and cover Maintenance Operative duties in allocated care homes.
Requirements
- Experience of managing a team
- Good understanding of building services
- Building/electrical/plumbing qualification or 5 years hand-on experience
- Knowledge of relevant statutory requirements
- Computer literate and experience of using maintenance software systems
- Flexibility to meet changing demands
- Practical ability in painting and decorating and basic fabric repairs
- Experience in managing Health and Safety matters
