Maintenance Operative

Maintenance Operative role at Bupa's Highgate Care Home, responsible for ensuring facilities remain fully functional, maintaining buildings and equipment, and ensuring health and safety compliance.

Requirements

• Good understanding of building services including heating, hot and cold-water distribution, ventilation, electrical distribution, and plumbing
• Sound understanding of building fabric and its maintenance
• Practical experience of planned maintenance systems and record keeping
• Knowledge of relevant statutory requirements and experience of compliance
• Full driving licence
• Building/electrical/plumbing qualification or 3 years hand on experience in property maintenance and general repairs
• Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team
• Computer literate
• Good Customer service skills
• Practical ability and experience in painting and decorating
