Bureau Veritas is looking for an API Inspector to ensure the integrity, reliability, and compliance of fixed equipment such as pressure vessels, piping, and storage tanks in line with API, ASME, and international standards.
Requirements
- Conduct inspections of pressure vessels, piping systems, and aboveground storage tanks as per API 510, 570, and 653 requirements.
- Implement and support Risk-Based Inspection (RBI) programs in line with API 580.
- Monitor repairs, alterations, and rerating activities to ensure compliance with codes and client requirements.
- Develop, implement, and update inspection plans, checklists, and asset integrity databases.
- Identify non-conformities, prepare NCRs, and recommend corrective or preventive actions.
- Ensure inspection activities are conducted in compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.
- Liaise with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams to optimize asset reliability.
- Timely completion of inspection schedules and reports as per project and client requirements.
- Accuracy and completeness of inspection reports and recommendations.
- Compliance with relevant codes, standards, and safety requirements.
- Planning effective inspection strategies.
- Effective coordination with cross-functional teams leading to minimal downtime.
- Timely closure of identified non-conformities and follow-up actions.
- Positive feedback from clients and stakeholders on inspection quality and professionalism.
- Compliance with API, ASME, ISO, ASTM, and LEEA standards in all inspection deliverable as applicable.
- Compliance of inspection activities with API 510, 570, 653, 580 and regulatory requirements.
- Accuracy and completeness of inspection reports and RBI assessments.
