Senior Civil Engineer

Shape the Future with BWB Consulting. As a Senior Civil Engineer, you'll play a key role in our Property Division, delivering consultancy services to a diverse client base across the UK. You'll take ownership of challenging projects, lead the preliminary and detailed design of levels, drainage and external works, and supervise and manage the delivery of multiple projects.

Requirements

• Proven experience in Civil Engineering design - particularly in levels, drainage and external works.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Civil 3D (or PDS with a willingness to train on Civil 3D), MicroDrainage and Microsoft Office.
• Experience of managing complex projects through planning to completion, liaising with planning authorities, statutory undertakers and national bodies like the Environment Agency.
• A collaborative mindset, with an understanding of other disciplines and a desire to develop project coordination skills.
• Commercial awareness, with developing influencing and negotiating skills, plus the ability to nurture new and existing client relationships.
• Strong communication skills - written and verbal - with the adaptability to engage different audiences.
• The ability to delegate effectively, mentor others and foster a supportive, high-performing team culture.
