Job Description
BWX Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: BWXT) is a U.S.-based company that provides safe and effective nuclear solutions for global security, clean energy, environmental restoration, nuclear medicine, and space exploration. We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer 2 to work on-site in Lynchburg, Virginia, designing complex mechanical systems and managing projects related to facility infrastructure.
Requirements
- BS in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology
- Two (2) years past experience with industrial/facility infrastructure design and industrial equipment
- CAD experience (Microstation preferred but not mandatory)
- Superior written, oral and interpersonal communication skills
- Highly self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail
- Must be a US Citizen
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a US Department of Energy (DOE) clearance
