Quality Assurance Engineer

BWXT is a People Strong, Innovation Driven company that offers a dynamic workplace that fosters growth and collaboration. The Quality Assurance Engineer will ensure the quality, reliability, and compliance of design, analysis, and prototyping activities for new nuclear systems.

Requirements

• A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in a STEM or related field is required.
• A minimum of ten (10) years of relevant experience is required, including at least five (5) years of experience in quality engineering in the nuclear, defense, or aerospace industry.
• Must have strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to multi-task.
• Must have a demonstrated understanding and implementation of quality standards such as NQA-1, ISO 9001, AS9100D, ASME, NCA-4000, or NASA requirements.
• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) or Department of Defense (DOD) security clearance, whichever is required.
