Director, Property Technologies

The Director, Property Technologies is responsible for coordinating and facilitating the selection, deployment, upgrade, and/or support of property-based technologies including building amenities, building management systems, distributed antenna systems, and physical security. The position drives overall strategies and standards for property-based technologies and participates in market research and sourcing of solution providers and partners.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required
• Strong knowledge of building technologies and vendor landscape with 5+ years of progressive experience in managing and executing deployments
• Strong knowledge of OT network and security standards including deployment of cloud-based facility solutions
• Solid project management skills with a demonstrated ability to oversee solution selection processes, coordinate the requirements of multiple stakeholders, manage multiple projects, and collaborate across multiple disciplines including both internal and external parties on technology deployments
• Solid teamwork and interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with employees and contractors
• Strong knowledge and understanding of business and business processes; knowledge of real estate business practices, engineering and property management preferred
• Excellent oral and written communication skills; an ability to present and discuss technical information in a way that establishes rapport, persuades others, and gains understanding
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual skills
• Ability to effectively adapt to rapidly changing technology and apply it to business needs
