Job Description
C & L Inspection is seeking knowledgeable and safety-minded individuals to join their team as Natural Gas Distribution Inspectors. The role involves inspecting pipelines to assess structural integrity, safety, and compliance with regulations. Responsibilities vary by level (1-4), ranging from basic inspection to overseeing capital rebuild projects and transmission projects.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in pipeline inspection or a related field (Level 1)
- Strong understanding of pipeline construction, maintenance, and repair processes (Level 1)
- Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in pipeline inspection, with a focus on line extensions and rebuild services (Level 2)
- Experience in distribution construction activities such as main line installation, service line installation, tie-ins, and leak repair (Level 2 & 3)
- 5-6 years of experience in pipeline inspection, with a focus on capital rebuilds, relocations, and leak detection (Level 3)
- API 1169 certification (Level 3 & 4)
- Minimum of 6 years of hands-on experience in pipeline inspection, with a specialized focus on transmission projects (Level 4)
- CPWI certification (Level 4)
- Knowledge of PHMSA part 192 requirements, OSHA site safety, Maximo/Moblite, Locus IQ, Pragma CAD, as-built drawings, and ONE MAP.
