Job Description
C & L Inspection is seeking knowledgeable and safety-minded individuals to join their team as Natural Gas Distribution Inspectors. The role involves inspecting pipelines to assess structural integrity, safety, and compliance with industry regulations, preparing detailed reports, and maintaining knowledge of industry standards. The responsibilities and qualifications vary depending on the level (1-4), ranging from basic inspections to overseeing capital rebuild and relocation projects.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in pipeline inspection or a related field (Level 1)
- Strong understanding of pipeline construction, maintenance, and repair processes
- Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in pipeline inspection, with a focus on line extensions and rebuild services (Level 2)
- Experience in distribution construction activities, including line extensions, rebuild services, leak repair, and regulator settings
- 5-6 years of experience in pipeline inspection, with a focus on capital rebuilds, relocations, and leak detection (Level 3)
- API 1169 certification (Level 3 & 4)
- Minimum of 6 years of hands-on experience in pipeline inspection, with a specialized focus on transmission projects (Level 4)
- CPWI certification (Level 4)
