Job Description
C & L Inspection is seeking knowledgeable and safety-minded individuals to join their team as Natural Gas Distribution Inspectors. The role involves performing pipeline inspections, preparing detailed reports, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations. Levels range from 1 to 4, with increasing responsibilities including line extension inspections, capital rebuild projects, leak detection, and oversight of contractor work on transmission projects.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in pipeline inspection or a related field (Level 1)
- Strong understanding of pipeline construction, maintenance, and repair processes (Level 1)
- Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in pipeline inspection, with a focus on line extensions and rebuild services (Level 2)
- Experience in distribution construction activities including main line installation, service line installation, tie-ins, retirements, leak repair, regulator settings, and weld mapping (Level 2 & 3)
- 5-6 years of experience in pipeline inspection, with a focus on capital rebuilds, relocations, and leak detection (Level 3)
- API 1169 (Level 3 & 4)
- Minimum of 6 years of hands-on experience in pipeline inspection, with a specialized focus on transmission projects (Level 4)
- CPWI (Level 4)
