This outside sales position focuses on promoting Sysco's products and services, building customer relationships, and achieving sales and profit goals within an assigned territory. The role may require working non-traditional hours to meet customer needs.
Requirements
- Prospect and qualify leads based on company account stratification goals
- Research customer needs and develop tailored product and service solutions
- Evaluate market trends and recommend relevant products
- Stay informed about market conditions, product innovations, and competitors
- Answer customer inquiries about products, pricing, availability, and usage
- Provide product information and training to customer personnel
- Drive to customer accounts, conventions, and meetings
- Manage accounts receivable, working with the credit department
- Manage deliveries and troubleshoot order issues
- Participate in company functions, promotions, and customer events
- Attend sales and district meetings
- Engage in ongoing training
- Assist with training new employees
- Review and analyze sales reports and data
