Software Quality Engineer

Role Overview

The Software Quality Engineer will perform verification and validation of integrated software and hardware products. The ideal candidate will be analytical with a testing mindset and strong attention to detail, have demonstrated documentation skills, and an ability to learn new technology quickly.

What You Will Do

Create and execute manual test cases, analyze and write test standards, review software products for compliance, identify system and software issues, and collaborate with development engineers.

Requirements

• BS degree, AS degree plus 2 years related experience, or 3 years related experience
• Strong analytical skills
• Working knowledge of at least one programming or scripting language
• Familiarity with quality assurance tools and methodologies
• Ability to read and understand requirements and create appropriate test plans and procedures
• Ability to write clear and detailed defect reports
