Job Description
The Cadillac Formula 1 Team is looking for a Control Systems Engineer to join their team at their Silverstone facility. The successful candidate will work within the Control Systems group and be responsible for the car control systems and their supporting systems at trackside events.
Requirements
- Educated to degree level in an engineering subject, or equivalent
- Experience with the management and calibration of vehicle control systems
- Experience with model-based software design in a Matlab Simulink environment
- Experience with motorsport data logging systems, preferably F1 SECU and associated tools
- Experience with automotive electronic systems, CAN and sensing technologies
- Ability to plan and manage own workloads
- Clear and concise communication, verbally and with the use of email
- Self-motivated, innovative and capable of working generally unsupervised to challenging deadlines
- Strong levels of IT skills, including MS Office, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Positively contribute to an open and inclusive culture
