Job Description
Cadrex is searching for a CNC Set Up II to set up and operate conventional, special purpose, and CNC Machining Centers. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Requirements
- Set up CNC machines for production runs
- Interpret engineering drawings, models, and specifications
- Program CNC machines using CAM software or manual programming techniques
- Conduct test runs and verify program accuracy
- Troubleshoot machining issues and resolve problems
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality control teams
- Train and mentor junior CNC operators
- Perform routine maintenance on CNC machines
- Adhere to safety protocols and procedures
